Universal Serial Bus Hardware Project (UHP)

This is another topic I will be blogging about. My first UHP project was a simple USB voltage relay controller. Here was some pics I took.

Basics on controlling a relay using USB only requires 2 wires connecting to the USB socket.


The two outer terminals are only used. One +5V and the other ground. So if you have an old USB cable not used you can cut it out and directly connect the terminals something similar like below.

This was my previous project. After it broke I mod it. Maybe I'll post what it has become now another time. Below is a pic on the relay broken.
