Fedora MAC Pt 2

As previous blog (part 1), we have only done the base system which can be applied with or without MAC layout. So now the visual part.

Remove the panel located at the bottom of screen and if you want to mess things up add anything to ur upper pannel by right click (rmb) then add to panel. Here is my view after some modification on the upper panel. Some of this features are going to be remove. This is just for fun view. By using wine I installed some extra applications in additions.

I install MS Office 2007, MS Project 2003 and trying to configure the use of SPSS also. 

Okay since now you don't have a task manager on any panel you can initiate compiz so that your avant window navigator can be used.

To do so on Menu System>Prefrences>Desktop Effects Enabled Compiz

Be sure in your Home directory, reveal all the hidden files, .themes, .fonts, .emerald exist. If not, create three folders and name them .themes, .fonts, .emerald. Create another folder within .emerald folder and name it themes.

Add yourself as a sudoer.

su
visudo

This will open up the sudo file using vi editor for editing. If you ain't familiar with vi and don't wan't to learn such complicated stuff don't worry we ain't going to do something beyond the edge. Just page down to the bottom of the document and press I and enter as below.

ALL=(ALL) ALL
Example; ahmyi ALL=(ALL) ALL

Press esc, then enter :wq. Exit root. More info regarding sudo online (link).

Extract the downloaded archive then open Mac4Lin_install_v1.0.sh To open the sh file just type sh at terminal follow with drag the sh file to terminal. Else you can type the whole location where that sh file has been extracted or moving you to such folder using change directory cd.
